Gory film director shoots movie for daughter

Award-winning Korean director Park Chan-Wook is known for his bloody and violent movies. But his latest film “I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK” is a romantic comedy, which he made so his daughter could enjoy one of his films.
The comedy takes place in a mental institution – not the most appropriate place for such a move, some may think. However, the doctors there are more good friends than strict supervisors and the patients are not mentally disabled but rather pleasant people with unusual habits.
The main character regards herself as a cyborg and licks batteries as she thinks she needs an electrical current to survive.
She falls for another patient who believes he can steal other people's souls. This role is performed by South Korean pop king Rain who's making his debut in a feature film.
The movie didn't earn much in Korean theatres although it's won praise from both European and American critics. Now Russian audience can enjoy it too.
