Do you speak Russian? Then it’s high time you learnt a couple of catchphrases in an unusual environment, such as Moscow’s blockbuster rock festival “Russian Lessons”.
The highly-anticipated open-air event is due to kick off on August 8 at the city’s Gorky Park. The fest is described as an “unprecedented large-scale event aimed at bringing together all Russian rock 'n roll stars in one venue.”
Rock 'n roll is said to be the main dish on the music menu of the “Russian Lessons”, but that doesn’t mean that the program of the festival will be one-dimensional and predictable.
Pure rock will be complimented with such ingredients as punk, funk and metal performed by cutting-edge bands as well as up-and-coming talent.
The organizers of the event say their main ambition is to promote Russian rock with all its cultural identity and language peculiarities.
