Sisters Inga and Anush Arshakyan showed off lavish outfits for their performance at the semi-final Eurovision contest.
They will be wearing dark blue velvet dresses with black collars and braids and traditional Armenian hats.
Their catchy love song 'Jan-Jan' is also a fusion of traditional and modern influences, and is performed in English and Armenian.
Armenia boasts a good record at Eurovision. Last year, one of the most popular and beloved young Armenian singers, Sirusho, came off 4th with her single ‘Qele Qele.'
Inga and Anush Arshakyans have been composing music since childhood. Their stepped into the limelight in 2000, when they went to perform in the Armenian Stage Song Theatre. They’ve toured the word extensively, with concerts in America and all across Europe, as well as in Iran and Russia.
Their performance at Eurovision promises to be spectacular, with lots of special effects, including pyrotechnics, green laser rays, and smoke effects.
