St. Petersburg police have dispersed a gathering of Michael Jackson fans. One person was arrested for failing to obtaining permission to stage a rally.
The fan club had gathered in front of the US consulate to mark the anniversary of the singer's death.
They sang songs, lit candles and unfolded a banner saying, "We remember, we grieve."
The fans say it wasn't a rally and that they had just met up to commemorate a sad occasion together.
