‘Jesus was a June baby’

Forget December 25 or January 7, Jesus Christ’s real birthday is June 17, says an Australian astronomer. He bases his claims on research into how the night sky looked over the Holy Land 20 centuries ago.
According to Dave Reneke, who is news editor of Sky and Space magazine, the ‘Christmas star’ that led the three wise men to a stable in Bethlehem was most likely a conjunction of planets Venus and Jupiter.
Together they formed a bright single ‘beacon of light’ suddenly appearing in the sky. Previous theories speculated that the celestial phenomenon mentioned in the Gospels was a supernova or even a comet.
“We are not saying this was definitely the Christmas star – but it is the strongest explanation for it of any I have seen so far,” he told the UK’s Daily Telegraph newspaper.
Reneke used astronomy computer software to trace the movement of planets back 20 centuries. And it revealed the exact date of Christ’s birth as June 17 in the year 2BC.
“December is an arbitrary date we have accepted but it doesn't really mean that is when it happened,” the astronomer explained.
He added: “This is not an attempt to decry religion. It's really backing it up as it shows there really was a bright object appearing in the East at the right time.”

I do agree that it doesn't matter when Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God was born in the flesh to redeem mankind from genetic corruption (sin nature in the genes), back to the Father. But it is fun to investigate it, because it helps me personally to search out Jesus Christ on a deeper level, and not just stay on one level. I'm drawing closer to Him by searching Jesus Christ out. I love Him and Jesus is my Lord. The Word is multi - dimentional. There is only one truth and he is Jesus Christ The Creator, Savior, and Mediator between the Father and mankind. I believe the answer is in the Bible about the time of his birth, not a specific date like June 17th, 3B.C. for an example . There is a season, numerical values, and scripture pertaining to the stars and constellations that reveals his coming to save us. The Holy Spirit has to teach you. It does not come from man's own understanding, or man's traditions whether Jewish or Gentile. When it comes to His birth in the flesh, it coincides with His death in the flesh at the same time to bring new life eternal. God has no time. He just is. When Jesus died, He died in past, present, and future. God Bless.
I believe Jesus was born so He could die for our sins. Adam was without sin until he ate the frobiden fruit, Jesus was without sin to redeem us from that sin. Jesus was born about 6 monthe after John the baptist. Check out the father of John and his service at the Temple. June was about that time. Elizabeth was 6 months along when Mary was Overshowed by the Holy Spirit. So that would be about Dec. Jesus would have been born 9 months later. It doesn't matter when He was born, just that He told us to observe the day He was the perfect Passover Lamb. He shed His blood for all that believe and repent. We cannot just believe, because satan and his followers believe and tremble. We need to also repent and be baptized (washed in the blood ) for the forgiveness of sins to be saved.

There was no magical moving star that changed position, it was something added by Matthew to appeal to the audience he was targeting (mostly Jewish iirc). It was an example of divine intervention, 'proving' that the birth of Jesus was of a massive significance. The (conflicting) naratives of Mark, Luke and John fail to mention anything about the star, it's really not worth trying to read too much into it.
