Justine Henin beats Vera Dushevina at Wimbledon

It's been another rain interrupted day at Wimbledon. Action was eventually suspended for the day in the early evening due to inclement weather. In one of the completed matches, the ladies singles top seed Belgian Justine Henin beat Russian Vera Dushevina.
The Belgian star having few problems against a player ranked some 82 places below her, with the Russian unable to win a single game until the second set 6-0, 6-4 is how that one ended
Ekaterina Bychkova went down to Severine Bremond
Serena Williams, the winner in 2002 and 2003, faced former top ten player Alicia Molik.
The Australian has struggled recently and slipped to 75th in the rankings. Serena taking the first set on a tie-break and then winning the second by 6 games to 3.
Elsewhere, Russia's Elena Vesnina beat Emilie Loit while Anna Chakvetadze's match against Tatiana Poutchek of Belarus was scheduled for the late session.
Earlier, 1997 Wimbledon champion Martina Hingis went through – she swept Japan's Aiko Nakamura in the second round.
On the mens side, Andy Roddick was easy winner over Danai Udomchoke beating him in straight sets winning 6-3 6-4 7-6.
The world's top men's player chasing five Wimbledon titles in a row - Roger Federer – had been leading Juan del Potro – by two sets to love – before rain interrupted them. The match was suspended at Federer 2-love up in the third set.
Russia's Dimitry Tursunov and Marat Safin will play on Thursday.
