Kamchatka sled-dogs go "bike-jogging" in summer

Russia's Far Eastern Kamchatka Peninsula has introduced a new summer sport for dogs. The region's four-legged residents, used to pulling sleds in winter, have taken to “bike-jogging” to keep up their fitness throughout the summer months.
Locals also organised a race to encourage some canine competition.
In winter, severe weather conditions mean dogs often provide the only means of transportation in Kamchatka.
