RT presents the pick of the action from the week’s games in the Russian ice hockey league.

On Saturday, table-toppers Atlant extended their lead over Salavat Yulaev with a win over Amur. Atlant scored three times, while home net-minder Vitlay Kolesnik was instrumental. He managed to keep his goal intact for a shut-out win.

Elsewhere, MVD thrashed Metallurg Novokuznetsk on home soil, 5-1.

Lokomotiv from Yaroslavl lost to struggling Khimik in overtime, while SKA St. Petersburg found themselves on the right side of a 4-2 scoreline against Kazak side Barys.

On Sunday, Salavat Yulaev scored two late goals as they came from behind to beat Vityaz 5-3. The Ufa men were 3-1 down at one point, but pulled level going into the final period. With the clock running down they scored twice to secure the win.

Elsewhere, Metallurg Magnitogorsk easily defeated Spartak Moscow on the road, 1-4.

Ak Bars were on form in Kazan, as they thrashed Neftekhimik, 6-2.

And in the late game, Dynamo Moscow destroyed Avangard in the Russian capital, 5-1.

There was no ice hockey action on Monday, and it’s time to look back at the best of last few days in the KHL.

Here are RT’s pick of the top ten goals of the week. Enjoy!
