Klitschko drops Austin in 2nd round

Published: 11 March, 2007, 09:56

Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko has successfully defended his IBF World Heavyweight title against American, Ray Austin. Three strong left-hooks from Klitschko had Austin on the canvas in the 2nd round.

The American did get back on his feet, but was counted out 90 seconds into the round.

The next step for Klitschko could be to try unifying the heavyweight titles. That could mean a fight with the undefeated WBA champion Nikolai Valuev.
