Malkin sets tone in NHL game

Two Russian stars met face to face in the NHL. Alexander Ovechkin's Washington hosted Evgeny Malkin's Pittsburgh Penguins Monday night. Ovechkin set the stage with two assists but it was Malkin who was the star of the night.
He netted the winner in a penalty shoot-out as the Penguins came back from a four-goal deficit to beat the Capitals. Elsewhere Colorado scored four goals in the final period to defeat reigning champs Carolina.And Vesa Toskala made 23 saves to record his third shutout of the season in the Sharks' win over Phoenix.
