Mark Knopfler not in Dire Straits in Moscow

The former Dire Straits lead guitarist and vocalist Mark Knopfler has appeared onstage at Moscow's Olimpiysky stadium to promote his new album “Kill To Get Crimson.”
The Olympiysky concert hall was crowded with fans who came to listen to good old classic rock hits such as Brothers In Arms, Sultans Of Swing, Money For Nothing and other all-time masterpieces, while others wanted to hear new slow-moving ambient country compositions from the legendary musician.
Mark Knopfler is among the “One Hundred Greatest Guitarists of All Time”, according to “Rolling Stone” magazine.
