Montreal win for Serbian Ivanovic

Ana Ivanovic beat Martina Hingis in the Montreal Open final. She cruised past the former world Number One in the opening set, producing lots of beautiful play. Trailing 5-2, Hingis called her mother and coach courtside for a talk which failed to help.
Ivanovic served out the first set 6-2 and then continued to dominate. A stunning backhand slice winner was one of the second set highlights. Then, after 58 minutes, the Serbian wrapped up the match 6-2 6-3 to grab her second WTA title. The 18-year-old collected a cheque of $200,000.
