The 7th Pig Olympics has been held as part of a major livestock exhibition in Moscow. The sporting-swine participated in a series of events ranging from sprints to marathons.

The winner, along with a tasty meal, was also presented with a gold medal.

These prized piglets are among the only domestic pigs in the world allowed to die of old age.

And since the “Sport Swine Breeding Federation” forbids their slaughter, these champions can look forward to defending their titles at next year’s games.
