Moscow to host 2013 Athletics World Cup

Moscow has been chosen to host the 2013 World Athletics Championships. The International Association of Athletics Federations assessed bids from four cities before making the announcement.
South Korea's Daegu won the vote to host them in 2011, but the Russian capital will be the venue two years later. Barcelona and Brisbane missed out on staging what is the biggest athletics event outside of the Olympics. The 2007 championships are in Osaka, while the 2009 event is in Berlin.
