When it comes to the ultimate floating accessory, few things can beat a super yacht. And despite the worldwide economic crisis, the annual Yacht Festival in Moscow showcases the latest multi-million dollar delights.
Those of the Russian rich who haven’t felt the pinch of the global economic crisis just yet are showing off their luxurious boats at the Moscow Yacht Festival, which, in terms of audience appeal, is the biggest event of its kind in Eastern Europe.
This time the event is being held at the Moscow Royal Yacht Club, the infrastructure of which allows it to contain up to 200 yachts and 10,000 people at any one time.
Apart from the competition, there’s also a big entertainment program, which includes a music concert on a floating stage and an exhibition of luxurious boats.
The festival is environmentally-friendly and the money raised during the event will be used to rehabilitate Moscow’s waterways.
“Summertime” comes to RussiaA mix of vibes, energies and styles. Several thousand people are expected to gather in St. Petersburg to capture the feel of music at an open-air festival. |
