Moscow’s Luzhniki joins ‘elite stadiums club’

After that, UEFA has awarded the Luzhniki Olympic Sports Complex the title of one of the three ‘elite’ stadiums in the world, according to Deputy Moscow Mayor Valery Vinogradov.

“The UEFA administration have also presented a special plaque to Luzhniki,” Vinogradov added.

He also said the UEFA have given a positive evaluation of the Champions League final match arrangements.

The other two ‘elite’ stadiums are Manchester City Stadium and Emirates Stadium – the home stadium of Arsenal FC.
