Fishes also have a taste for diamond
Some times treasures can be found in unusual places. 27-year-old Muscovite Yelena was trying to settle her hunger with tinned fish but, instead, found a golden earring with diamonds.
She discovered the jewellery on the bottom of a can with saury bought in her local store. The earring was encrusted with five diamonds.
Yelena, a daughter of a fisherman from Vladivostok, has her own theory of how the earring got into the can. She doesn’t believe that it could have happened at the factory. Apparently, the owner of the jewellery dropped it while swimming in the sea and the fish ate the shiny object.
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, and now Yelena has some. She only needs to find the second earring to be entirely happy.
