A Moscow builders’ market was behind the unusual event. The history of the nail goes back at least as far back as the times of ancient Egypt. And nail afficionados were stressing how, for centuries, it has been underpinning human lives through its role in construction.

The highlight of the event was when the national emblem of Russia, the two headed eagle, was created in a unique form – with 150,000 nails crammed into a total area of three square meters.
