Swift costume changes, magical transformations and hundreds of mind-bending tricks. These are just some of the things stunning audiences at “Magic Stars” – a new stage show that recently premiered at Moscow’s “Mir” conce

The new spectacle features the cream of Russia’s illusionists, and headlines the country’s acknowledged master of magic – Anton Krasilnikov

He’s the great-grandson of an acrobat and the grandson of a clown. But Anton always knew his circus calling was magic.

His is a typical circus story. But when beginners ask this legend of magic for advice, they’re often surprised.

“Quit it, stop making this rubbish! This genre is very ungrateful. It takes five years to understand whether you were right to choose this profession,” Krasilnikov warns.

Another magic star, Artem Schukin won the recognition of the public and his colleagues just a year ago.

A young artist from the provincial theatre named Artem Schukin decided to take part in the Russian talent show “The Minute of Fame”. He didn’t win, but he still managed to become a new star in the world of magic.

“After the TV show I started receiving lots of proposals. And now I am here, taking part in this wonderful show. I'm very happy,” Schukin said.

Oksana needs just thirty seconds to change clothes. Her husband is also a master of the quick-change. During their stage act they go through a mind-boggling range of transformations.

“We are a couple and a creative alliance. I can't make it without her; she can't make it without me. We're always together,” the young married partners say.

While these magicians perform different types of tricks, they all have one thing in common. They never reveal the secrets of magic to their audience.

The Magic Stars will continue working wonders until the 28th of September.
