The Philadelphia Eagles have given their fans the perfect Christmas present, clinching a playoff spot with a 23-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles improved to 9 and 6 with the win.
Thus they managed to secure at least an NFC wild card spot. Quarterback Jeff Garcia the man in form, finding Matt Schobel from 25 yards to open the score.The Eagles can claim the NFC East title with a win over Atlanta next Sunday. Their latest victory also gives New Orleans the number two seed in the NFC and a first-round playoff bye.In the other game, New York defeated Miami 13-10.
