Ukrainian singer Anastasiya Prikhodko who represents Russia at this years’ Eurovision contest says plastic surgery is not her thing.

A video clip has been created to show how the 22-year old singer is getting older and older, and in minutes turns into a 70-year old babushka.

The intriguing video will be shown at the Eurovision final to complement Prikhodko’s song ‘Mamo’ which she will be performing on May 16.

Six kinds of make-up were used during the shooting to put years on Prikhodko. Each time, it took make-up artists up to 90 minutes to change the singer’s image.

The Ukrainian singer says she dedicated her entry to her mother and will be singing it in Russian and Ukrainian.

‘Mamo’ tells the story of a girl’s first love. In the video clip to the song, Prikhodko plays both the girl and her mother.

Prikhodko, who made a name for herself as the winner of popular Russian TV talent show, the Star Factory, says she enjoyed the experience.

“I liked the way I look in my old age. I decided not to turn to plastic surgery because I look fine at 70. So, I’ll age naturally.”

The singer didn’t deny she went on a diet to get ready for the Eurovision contest. “Like any woman, I want to look beautiful. I started dieting to shape up and feel fit.”
