The administration of Kachkadar, a town in Russia's Urals, has launched a service to evacuate cows and goats from the city. Now every townsman may call 05 and a specially-trained man will come and take the artiodactyls away.
The announcement appeared on the town council's official website. It read:
Dear townsmen!
If a cow or a goat is hanging around your house and spoiling a green space, call 05, and the animals will be brought away!
The launch of the service has provoked mixed reaction among the townsmen. The most frequently asked question is where and how will the animals be returned to their owners.
