Ovechkin boosts Russian hockey hopes

Aleksandr Ovechkin and his Washington Capitals hockey side have had their Stanley Cup dreams ended for the season after they lost in overtime in their deciding play-off match against Philadelphia.
60 minutes of play did not find the winner, with each side scoring twice.
In overtime Plilly skipped away to a 4-3 lead.
Ovechkin now is free to play for Russia at the upcoming World Championship in Canada.
