Realism for a price: art fans ready for 200k bill

Fans of realist paintings will be scrambling over one another in Moscow this weekend, when 80 of Russia’s finest 20th century works are auctioned off. It’s thought they’ll fetch up to $US 200,000.

For now, all the lots are displayed for the public at the Sovetsky hotel.
