For the fifth year, a bell-ringer's festival has opened close to Moscow, on a site where the victims of Soviet repression were buried in unmarked mass graves. But these days, there's a happier atmosphere.

Despite the festival having just begun, there are a lot of people there, primarily orthodox families, who came there to the morning service.

The organizers of the festival say the event is going to be particularly interesting for children, because it is such an amusing experience to try to ring a bell themselves.

The organizers also say that the main aim of the festival is to introduce the history of the bell-ringing of orthodox Russia to different people.

There are many professional bell ringers coming from all across Russia to share the experience and enjoy the music.
