While the western world is gearing up to celebrate Christmas in two days' time, Russia is doing the same for the New Year. Russian Christmas is on January 7, but for most Russians it's still the New Year that is the most celebrated holiday.

Let's visit some Russian cities to see what special treats they've prepared for their residents over the holiday.
