Russian Hockey Super League: Krylya Sovetov beat Metallurg 3-1

Krylya Sovetov Moscow got an important 3-1 win against fellow strugglers, Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the Russian Hockey Super League. Krylya took the lead after only seven minutes.

It started well for Krylya, as Aleksandr Kozhevnikov scored on a break-away.

The team then doubled their lead with just a minute to go, with Sergey Dorofeev's long-range strike finding its way into the net. The fantastic shot left the netminder with no chance.

Midway through the second, the Moscow side extended their lead further, as Denis Kulin's fierce put Krylya Sovetov 3-0 infront.

Metallurg gave themselves some hope minutes later, as Maksim Rybin scrambled the puck home.
