Russian ice hockey Superleague: Metallurg Magnitogorsk advances to semis

Russian ice hockey club, Metallurg Magnitogorsk, is through to the semi-finals in the Russian Superleague play-offs. Magnotogorsk pulled a clean sweep on Sibir – 3-2 the final score in game three.
Ravil Gusmanov netted the winner 10 minutes from fulltime.Avangard took a 2-1 lead in their series with Lokomotiv, courtesy of a 2-0 away win.The reigning champs, AK Bars, are looking to move on to the semis, holding a 2-0 lead over Khimik, however, that one is in overtime tied at 2.Another game went to extra session, as CSKA are attempting to come back from a 2-0 deficit against Salavat Yulayev.
