On Wednesday the duo of Anastasias Davydova and Yermakova won the synchronised swimming event, then wrestler Buvaysar Saytiev took Russia's 13th Olympic gold. Earlier, swimmer Larisa Ilchenko took gold in the inaugural 10 km open water marathon swim.
