There are many perks that come with being head of state – bodyguards, luxury cars and a private plane. Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, however, has something else that makes the top job attractive.

Now he has his own personal masseuse, an American called Doctor Dot, who is known for a radical massage technique which involves biting the afflicted area.

In her blog, the masseuse – who boasts of massaging Kiss, Sting, and The Rolling Stones – said that she spent a week in Georgia relaxing the Georgian president.

Doctor Dot said that during the massage, she and Saakashvili laughed and cracked jokes.

“I was massaging his massive neck and told him, ‘Wow! Your neck is so tense!’ and he answered ‘No kidding, I have Russia sitting on it!’ We both laughed so hard,” she said.

The masseuse confessed that she enjoyed her visit and loved the way the president treated her.

She said that following Caucasian traditions, Saakashvili fed her a lot and she even gained weight while in the country.

“I’m fighting hard here to keep my trim figure, but the first thing he says when he sees me every day is, ‘Are you hungry?’ and then proceeds to order massive amounts of food. Ha ha! I read that in Georgia, they believe guests are a ‘gift from god’ and they LOVE to feed their visitors.”

Doctor Dot said that, apart from loving Americans, the Georgian president is witty and frank.

“Genuinely friendly, not diplomatically friendly, know what I mean? He had his body guards send down two bottles of Georgian wine ‘Mukuzani’ Special Reserve, aged in French barrels for 20 months, and 100 euro tip. What a man! He now has a new fan.”
