School of fun and drama

An international summer theatre school has opened its doors in the old Russian town of Zvenigorod in Moscow Region.
90 aspiring actors from 30 countries will be polishing their skills under the professional guidance of prominent Russian artists and tutors.
The art director of the international school is established Russian actor Aleksandr Kalyagin. The project has been brought together by the Theatre Union of Russia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
One of the highlights of the month-long program is a series of creative workshops and master-classes from well-known stage directors such as Lev Dodin, Pyotr Fomenko and Galina Volchek.
Students will show off all their talents and knowledge of acting techniques at final ensemble productions by the end of June.
