Seven Siberian tiger cubs born in captivity

In Russia’s Far Eastern city of Krasnoyarsk a captive Siberian tiger, has given birth to seven cubs over the last three years. There are only 500 species of Siberian left which makes their breeding programme especially important.
It is generally considered that Siberian tiger males and females don't really get along with each other. And their population is decreasing, partly due to poaching.
But Krasnoyarsk zoo has found a recipe to fix the situation - love.
“We have good results because we’ve found the right male about our female tiger. This couple loves each other, and so we expect them to deliver more babies each year,” Margarita Shushakova, Chief of Predators department of Krasnoyarsk zoo, explained.
Now several zoos are competing to host the baby tigers.
