Sharapova triumphs in all-Russian final

Maria Sharapova has won the Qatar Open, beating fellow Russian Vera Zvonaryova in the three-set final 6-1, 2-6, 6-0. Sharapova has kept her amazing run going this season, winning yet another title, as she extended her winning streak to 14 matches since th
Things were going well for the World Number 5, as she raced to take the opener 6-1.
However Zvonaryova levelled the match, shocking Sharapova to take the second 6-2.
The decider was a one-sided affair. Sharapova, the reigning Australian Open champion, broke her fellow Russian three times to win the set 6-0, wrapping up the title and remaining unbeaten so far this year.
