Small people's huge problems

Is it hard to be a little person in a big world? For those who suffer from growth defects, life is a struggle to be accepted. Meanwhile, small people say there is a total of about 8,000 of them living throughout Russia.
According to statistics, one person in every 15,000 develops a growth defect in early childhood. Doctors say it is an illness caused by lack of a growth hormone, and paediatricians should be responsible for detecting it early.
