“New Year all year round!” It's the name of a festive performance featuring characters from a popular Russian animated series “Smeshariki”. The dazzling show is made even more vibrant with the astonishing soap bubbles!
Piglet Nyusha is a character of the Russian flash-animated series “Smeshariki” (“The Laughing Balloons”). The cartoon is popular with children and their parents. “We wanted to make a family show,” says Aleksey Golovlyov, Performance Director, “which would amuse not only the young ones. “Smeshariki’s” are so positive; there is no aggression in this cartoon.”As the show goes on, the funny round characters find out, how and when the New Year is celebrated in different countries. Then the Queen of Soap Bubbles, Ana Yang, presents her show called “The Science of Bubbles”. She can make bubbles inside other bubbles, “smoke” them and make them interact with each other. Over the past 20 years she has performed across the globe. The magic liquid’s secret formula has been worked out by Ana's husband Fan Yang.“He has twelve Guinness Book records,” says Ms Yang, “and I have one. Last month in Beijing I put 26 people inside a bubble.”Colourful soap-bubbles bring a summer rainbow in the middle of winter. Anything is possible in the make-believe world, where there is a “New Year all year round”!
