Twelve species of the largest and most colourful butterflies in the world twinkle like fireworks. Because of the severe Russian climate, they occupy a small room with an artificial tropical environment.
Unfortunately the beautiful creatures only live for about three weeks. But there is also an exhibition where the colour of small wings never fades. Butterflies from all over the world are kept in boxes. As the exhibition is designed mainly for children, there is no boring classification – just a lush patchwork of natural beauty.
