Every year on January 25 Russian students celebrate St. Tatyana's day.

“All the departments have been celebrating, giving performances and exchanging gifts. The students love the holiday and they need it. Once a year they need to relax, to make merry and forget everything,” Sadovnichiy says.
And it’s not just current students who come to enjoy the fun. Tatyana’s day brings back graduates who’ve not seen the inside of a classroom in the best part of thirty years.
