Swiss ready for Euro 2008 kick off

Just hours before the kick off of one of the greatest sporting events in Europe, thousands of fans are flocking to Switzerland. And Swiss hospitality is not the only dish on the menu.
Famous for their clocks and chocolate, the co-hosts have never enjoyed the same success with a football, but are determined to do better this time. And that national pride is evident in the organisers as well. The Swiss are clearly determined to put on a good show. They’ve set up a vast media centre for the broadcasters, as well as recruited 1,000 Basel locals as volunteers to help fans feel at home.
