Justine Henin has successfully defended her title at the season-ending WTA ?hampionships in Madrid. She beat Maria Sharapova in a thrilling three-setter, with the Russian taking the first set 7-5. Henin came back 7-5 6-3 in the second and third to claim
It's Henin's tenth title this season.
But it it was yet more WTA disappointment for Sharapova. Although a winner in Spain back in 2004, the Russian has now lost three finals in a row in Madrid.
