Tennis star Safina claims third tournament of the year

Dinara Safina has shown she is on top form ahead of the Olympics with an impressive victory over Dominika Cibulkova in the Rogers Cup final.
Seventh-seeded Safina put on a sterling display, beating the Slovak 6-2, 6-1 to claim a second straight title and third this year.
A second-serve ace sealed the match and moves Safina up to number seven in the world ranking, a new career-high.
It continues her best ever stretch, with 27 wins out of 30 since May.
“There were some crucial moments but I stayed tough there. And her mistakes helped me to win easily,” she said.
