Violinist from Japan on Moscow stage

The “December Evenings” music festival in Moscow has come to an end. One of the last musicians on the stage was talented Japanese violinist Mayuko Kamio with a difficult yet appealing programme.
Mayuko Kamio's favourite composer is Shostakovich, but on this occasion the choice was not hers to make, so the young violinist was a little nervous.Mayuko said the works by Beethoven and Stravinsky featured in her performance did not really suit her, but still the audience was enchanted.
