Warrior of Light performs divine will on police

Published: 15 October, 2008, 11:53

If you have never heard of ‘Warriors of Light’ before, you should know that they all drive tractors, live in Ukraine, fight with knives and their holy mission is to direct demons and warriors of darkness onto the right path. These warriors of darkness oft

A tractor driver in the Ukrainian town of Dnepropetrovsk drove to a car dealer’s, went out and started running among the cars with his weapon of light, which appeared to be a knife. After the police arrived at the scene, the tractor driver got back to his vehicle and tried to run away, but then, probably realising that wasn’t the way a Warrior of Light should behave, he suddenly turned back and began chasing the policemen on his vehicle shouting that they were ‘demons and warriors of darkness’.

Later when the Warrior was stopped and calmed down, he named himself as a character from the popular Russian book ‘The Golden Calf’ and explained he had a vision where he had been told to do all this by heavenly forces. It turned out that the responsible citizen was trying to bring the policemen to the divine love and put these lost sheep on the right path.

It also became known what ‘divine forces’ led him to these deeds as he informed them he smoked ‘around three marijuana cigarettes a day’.

The driver might face charges of disorderly conduct, but still he didn’t seem upset saying that ‘all is to the will of heaven’.
