Yachting: Russia in doldrums in Volvo race

The first leg of the Volvo Ocean Race has reached a crucial stage. It’s ten days since the eight yachts set out from Alicante in Spain en route to Cape Town, and the Russia boat is second last.
The boats are now entering the doldrums. That's an area along the equator which can leave boats stranded without wind for hours. Team Green Dragon are in the lead while Team Russia are in 7th place after a dramatic first week at sea.
