Young circus performers pay tribute to Yury Nikulin

The Moscow circus boarding school created with the support of the late legendary actor Yury Nikulin is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The highlight of the celebrations is the opening of a museum dedicated to the actor.
Many of the exhibited sketches, photographs, circus posters and letters came from the family archive. Among them is the most treasured item: the clown costume, which Yury Nikulin wore for more than fifteen years.“Our children have learned all of his gags, and when they grow up, they'll have a chance to try on the costume,” museum curator Oleg Bogoslovsky said.The students of the school have a diverse curriculum, bringing together juggling mathematics, magic tricks, and literatu Juggling and acrobatics are the necessary pre-requisites for all students. However, balancing on a wire and riding a monocycle are optional courses for the most devoted future circus performers.
