The Moscow circus boarding school created with the support of the late legendary actor Yury Nikulin is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The highlight of the celebrations is the opening of a museum dedicated to the actor.

Many of the exhibited sketches, photographs, circus posters and letters came from the family archive. Among them is the most treasured item: the clown costume, which Yury Nikulin wore for more than fifteen years.

“Our children have learned all of his gags, and when they grow up, they'll have a chance to try on the costume,” museum curator Oleg Bogoslovsky said.

Juggling and acrobatics are the necessary pre-requisites for all students. However, balancing on a wire and riding a monocycle are optional courses for the most devoted future circus performers.
