Published: 11 December, 2006, 13:23

A young star from the world of classical music – violinist Gill Shaham – is performing with the National Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Russian maestro Vladimir Spivakov in Moscow.

Spivakov was the first to discover the talented young violinist.

It happened 15 years ago at the Calmar music festival. Since that time Gil Shaham has won the affection of classical music lovers and has performed in some of the world's the most prestigious concert halls.

This time it was the stage of the Moscow International House, where Shaham perfectly performed in his favorite works – both by  Beethoven – the Violin Concerto the 7th Symphony.
