Russian tennis player, Mikhail Youzhny will meet in the final of the Dubai Open with the world number one, Roger Federer, who won his 40th match in a row, beating German Tommy Haas. 

Mikhail Youzhny dispatched Sweden's Robin Soderling in straight sets in their semi-final. And he showed the same form that had seen him past Spanish Rafael Nadal in the last round – as he took the opening set 7-5.

After beating the world's number 2 he'll now have to go one better in the final.

Tommy Haas had chances in the match to break Federer and even held a set point in the second set but each time, the world number one withstood the pressure. But he admitted it was a tough game.
