PR has a Facebook page where you can speak for or againist them. I've asked them numerous questions and they do not respond except once then just gave a run around answer. Some guy named Andrew (site person) I believe speaks for them. He indirectly threatens the life of President Putin all the time. They are trying to seperate the Russian people from the government. They have support from misguided music people. I've challanged Andrew in the past to come and post comments at RT if he disgrees. PR offers no practical solutions for the people of Russia or anywhere else. Their type of movement is very, very dangerous.

I have little sympathy for Pissy Riot's 'political' activities and even less for Voina and Femen, but if Tolokonnikova's account is true I'll have to change my mind If Russia would like to counter the West's moral imperialism they need a crash course in, well, morals.

They must be shaved? Otherwise they will stink in jail, and attract seagulls.

For rights? Are you kidding me? For criminals? What else do you want? A fine hotel room, red wine and a steak?

There are over a million prisoners in American prisons that do slave labor every day. They get paid almost nothing. Not only that, but the judges are on the take to put more people in prison. WHATS THE BIG DEAL P RIOT. Not only that, Germany had to pay billions in compensation to Jewish prisoners doing slave labor in the camps during WW 2. Whereas, not one person is able to get compensation in america. Probably because they are black

Her reason for the hunger strike makes no sense. It does not sound legit at all. This is more than likely a stunt to gain sympathy for a reduced sentence.

Freesaxon 23.09.2013 20:30

What a waste of time.
She recieved a very light sentance, so what she wants to go on a diet ?

France is no easy place to be a progressive, either. A few FEMEN protesters got arrested for protesting in the middle of Notre Dame. The gendarmes want to try them under a French law that has 10 years maximum penalty.

By the way, maximum penalty for the Russian law is 7 years. After Putin said "the sentence should be reasonable," the PR girls got 2 years including time served, which means another 18 months.

Oh, the sad plight of those PR "progressives.& quot;

How conveniently for some people the poor-quality music group, unknown even to its neighbours, was immediately supported by the totality of NWO media and art establishment in the West. Maybe Tolokonnikova and her supporters should draw some comparisons between her state and the "democratic&quo t; Gitmo Bay American prison.

logical-american, you don't deserve the freedom that you enjoy! We know what a gulag is, and we know also that there are American prisons which aren't much better, but that is no excuse for accepting the unacceptable! You deserve to be free only if you are willing to fight for it, and if you won't then you will be fought and taken by the Americans who care what their country stands for!

We don't have slave labor in the US prison system. If you want to work you can with a small wage or you don't.

In fact, in American prisons, work is a privilege. If you don't behave you'll go to the hole and don't get to work. Work comes with certain perks, as well. Some prisons contract with private businesses to run factories, call centres, etc. They are highly coveted work positions.

On the other hand, Russia's prison system has not changed much from the days of the Soviet Union (ironically, the correctional ministry's website has .su domain!).
