at least I got a picture how it works..
1st get naive people to do ugly things in places what you like to control..
2nd let them being advertised as an uncontrolled trouble maker gang..
3rd put them in your punish system to prove your fear power to those whom you want to control
(problem about fear in politic: yes it's cheaper in money but on time line too)..

This is archaic............. Putting whoever you can in prison and forcing them into slave labor. Why does Putin have such a hard time with these ladies, do they threaten his power, do they not mind him because he is basically a dictator and they are protesting that since many of their relatives in the past might have fought in the Bolshevik revolution but didn't quite acheive human rights for the people, no censorship, etc. etc.
It is crime against humanity and man kind to put beautiful women behind bars, regardless of charge.

The re are alternative punishments, that are more appropriate for cases like this, such as requiring her to wear high heels and tight dress and sit in front of web cam and communicate with guys around the world for 16 hours a day!

[/quot e]

You are being too demanding. Why the dress or high heels? Don't you think the poor girl would be more comfortable naked?

If I remember right even Christians asked forgiveness or the reduce, and they had a good reason..

I think Moscow went for it.. I keep telling Russian's system is missing God (and in a constructive critic way)
Easy to be smart later (but it's not too late) the church story judge is a typical over doing mistake at ex-communists (here being more Christian than a Christian)
And the hunger strike to save others is an other strange mistake also by those who sent her in that prison (missing God)

guess many people wonder how it will end to solve similar mistakes..

In the Bible 2e book of Samuel describes the duties of the president. It say he must be God fearing... ,.

Gandhi was careful and wise 'I'm a Muslim and a Hindu and a Jew and Christian and (all kind which serve God) '
Nice to use sentences from different religions to understand God, but it can create conflict between religions if you're forcing to use it to judge others with it..
Jesus never called himself or others president or king etc and for some reason it stayed that way in Christianity (King of Jews, by whom?)

MEJanssen 28.09.2013 16:04

@ Norbert Kimar, part of the issue may be the balance the government is trying to maintain between the four major religions it recognizes. If PR had done their stunt in a Jewish synagogue or Buddhist temple, there would have been outrage. If they had done it in a Muslim mosque, they might not have emerged alive. This time, they did it in an Orthodox cathedral and chanted anti-Christian things on the steps of the altar. The government is trying to prevent inter-religious war. PR would have cheered if they could have caused religious riots.

Those who are saying chicken sex and really defending the Russian culture should fix the wiki :
'.... However, there is no evidence that members of Moscow-based Hussy Riot participated in this action'

[quote name='norbert kimar' why did they punished them that hard ??

... I've studied the published Codes of Law for several US States (for comparison), and their penalties could have been even more severe!
how about the rest of states ??

I don't know whose side you are, I'm pacifist..
Peopl e will turn away from Russia and that is bad for Russian's business in the end..
Che Guevara was turned in by a farmer and then same people turned him into a hero.. by the way Jesus has also unknown years in his life and father but people love him and expect he is son of God.. You can't find a single Muslim who is against Moses 10 commands though they against israel's politics..

she's fighting for justice now.. and they had lawyer problems.. I said earlier Russian system missing God and it's a weak point..
without soul is materialism= math

Russian prisons are not famous for luxary. They should have done the so called "crime" in Sweden instead. Here they would have had TV, shower and a good bed in their room. Right to work with a salary or perhaps a university degree if they study. No TB or other distgusting deceases :)

norbert kimar 28.09.2013 14:08

@ Cornelius 13:25
It wasn't for me but you don't see the problem. The punish seems about what they did in the church.. and as Jesus said 'that person should throw stone on me first who never committed any crime'
Russia is big political power country where politicians were against religions also decades ago..
from earlier RT news: Tolokonnikova recalls that Mordovia greeted her with the words of the deputy head of the penal colony, Lieutenant Colonel Kupriyanov, who is the de facto head of our colony: “'For your knowledge, I’m a Stalinist by my political views,’” he allegedly told her
