Can't the Russian news media find a few negative things about P. M. Putin. He cannot be that good. Somewhere during his childhood he must have done something very bad, like cutting down his fathers CHERRY TREE or fighting with a class mate, etc. Russians are always ROOTIN FOR PUTIN. How does P. M. Putin stack up against Pres. Obama? Are they similar or different. Which one is the worst office holder? The news is full of Obamamania in the USA. Is it like that in the Russian federation? It would be nice to see some stories on the real Putin, with all the pretty complements left out. I believe the world would like to know more facts about Mr. Putin.

You, russians are lucky to have a very decent man as Prime Minister. He also did a lot of good for your country from January 2000 until Mr Medvedev took over. I had the priviledge to be in Orenburg when he bcame the president and also when he came to this city in August 2009 (between those two visits, I made 10 others). Actually, he is the only Worldwide politician that I shall be proud to meet. Comparatively, if I will have an encounter with our french machiavelic comedian, he is certain to have my poing on his noze (Having some karate's experience, I could even go further). Sorry Future French Generations; we have now in Paris, the paroxysme of mediocrity. Sincerely. Jean-Claude Meslin

@ nice guy, there are critical news sites but they are not always translated to English. You might want to try "Echo Moskva" (sp?) if you can read Russian. I cannot very well, but they have a radio show and internet outlet that is often critical of Putin. They were the ones Hillary made a point to visit during her latest trip to Russia. I feel the opposite way about USA and UK media outlets. Do they say anything positive about Putin? 8^D
