North Korean people are starving because of one reason and one reason only. Geopolitical gains. The UN and their cronies are starving an entire population because of this. Nowhere else in this world is this kind of warfare allowed. This is genocide, nothing more and nothing less. The North Koreans are acting like they do because of over five decades of gunboat diplomacy. The reason not any nation objects to these atrocities is because if they did, they would be the next nation on the menu, as in staged revolutions or why not full-scale war operations, as that apparently also work just fine. Sick I say, sick...

Y ou mean like the Russian Empire?  The Russians Czars?  The Soviet Union?

N. Korea, there are no worlds to express my admire and respect of your achievements. At this time, when even the biggest country Russia behave like a cheap prostitute in front of US - NATO thugs, you go into the future with your straight head. May GOD help you to prosper and protect your country

NK and Iran are going to drag the world into conflict. There is NOTHING good about possessing the means to kill innocent people on a horrific scale, which is what they are trying to achieve.  Ho w come when Iran wants to have nuclear technology for energy and medical considered the means to kill people in horrific scale but when US and Israel have Nuclear bombs capable of destroying the world several times is not ?How come many countries can launch satellites, but north korea can't?It's obvious to the world who's draging the world into conflicts.

YOU ARE WRONG wrote in #12

You are so wrong. I have friends in NK who they themselves say their village is staving and the NK govt provide no assistance. Yet they have millions of dollars to spend on missiles and nukes. Many people in NK HATE their govt but are too afraid to speak out because of the consequences. What is free and right about this? NOTHING! Don't believe NK govt.
If they are starving, it's because of US embargo, Not their type of government. US embargo is not because they are not democractic. It's because they don't want to be slaves of imperialism and they can be bullied. China has same sort of government but US doesn't have problem with them, Because they can't bully China anymore.

You are all a bunch of warmongers. Nothing positive can come of an arms race and NK's persistence in trying to achieve nuclear and missile know-how against international demands. NK are playing games (as always), they are ignoring Russian and Chinese calls and increasing the chance of war on the Korean peninsula. Since they are located so close to the motherland (Russia) their actions can destabilize our whole region. If you cause a war on our doorstep,  you pay a huge penalty for endangering our families.

NORTH KOREA IS NOT STARVING wrote in #16 Why did you remove the post titled north korea not starving RT?This is VERY suspicious. There was nothing in that post that was controvercial. Other than the truth about google blacking out North Korea with Google Earth Software so people cant see the sanctions are not working and the north koreans are not starving.

I do not agree with US and Nato logic but I also don't agree that any nation like NK, who has a staving populous, should spend millions on rockets and nukes which is only going to further destabilize the world. We need free and fair negotiations between all sides to end this behaviour, threats and further sanctions will not help. But NK also have to prove they trust worthy for the west to respond favourably.

NK are a bunch of tossers. Why don't you feed your innocent, starving people instead of building rockets and provoking a potential global conflict? All those who have commented in favour of NK have no clue at all? You won't be so supportive when one of these missiles land your own back yard!!!

NORTH KOREA: SETTING AN EXAMPLE FOR IRAN 09.04.2012 23:20

North Korea is not afraid to stand up the West and to ANY nation that questions its sovereign right to have nukes and missile launches. Soon, North Korea will have ICBMs ready to carry nuclear payloads. Please, North Korea, do Iran a favour and teach them how to be bold and brave. IRAN: PAY ATTENTION TO NORTH KOREA. They are fearless.

I think this is a good step forward for North Korea to have the means to devolope and manufacture mordern weapons to protect its borders against any possible intruders.Any country without deterrent weapons will always fall a prey to the evil imperialists who tend to think that they own the World.I wholeheartedly salute the leaders and the people of North Korea as they struggle to achieve a viable and strong position in the World which is dominated by European vampires.

Adam, the reason why the Unites States doesn't want countries like North Korea to have nuclear weapons is because North Korea is very unstable. Should their government collapse, nuclear weapons will make it on to the black market. If that's so, then just maybe it would be wise if the US Goverment stopped destabalizing countries like this, then you would not have to worry any other sovereign country collapsing.
